Senior Analyst Procurement
SUMMARY:This position will be responsible for managing procurement price programs. The management of these programs includes verifying price accuracy to procurement program documentation, reviewing and timely requesting price file updatesand developing cost models to determine market impacts on current and future spend. Specific duties include but are not limited to working with Tyson's supply base to ensure price programs are fully optimized and price matrices are established within categories, overseeing price audit programs, developing business unit presentations, outlining price movement and spend impact analysis for respective categories, managing his/her cost center within his/her budget, conducting predictive and prescriptive analysis on pricing activity and executing on all other assigned corporate and procurement division assigned goals and objectives.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other equivalent and relevant work experience.Experience: 3+ years Financial Analysis and Cost Modeling experience preferred. SAP systems experience preferred.Computer Skills: advanced skills in all aspects of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Wordand Project.Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills.Special Skills: in-depth knowledge and understanding of formula-based cost modeling, conducting feasibility and impact analysis, data manipulation, advanced competitive assessments and scenario modeling, strong analytical skills, and demonstrating energetic leadership and self-motivating ability.Supervisory: This position may have direct reports.Travel: 3-6 domestic trips per year.To view a full job description and submit your resume for consideration, click APPLY TO THIS POSITION below and follow the prompts.Apply for this job.
