As SeniorCommunications Manager, you will be a key member of the Brand Marketing team,shaping The Climate Corporation communications both externally and internally.This position is responsible for strategic communications planning andexecution to build The Climate Corporation brand. This position managesexecutive communications and the Climate Speakers Bureau, identifying keyspeaking and outreach opportunities, developing materials (including eventbackground, slide decks, messaging, Q&A, etc.), and managing proactive andreactive mainstream and trade media relations in conjunction with speakingevents. This position is also responsible for internal communications,including managing company-wide employee meetings and newsletters, as well aslocal St. Louis office employee meetings.  An integralmember of the Corporation Communications team, this role works closely withmedia relations, business communications, reputation management and corporateengagement team members as needed to coordinate events, materials and mediainteractions.   This positionalso works closely with subject matter experts in the agriculture space,including but not limited to The Climate Corporation???s leadership, datascientists, engineers, marketing teams, and sales and product development tosupport the strategy for the platform and the commercial business. Thisposition also works closely with an outside agency to support the developmentand execution of plans and materials. Key Responsibilities:Executivecommunications and speakers bureauCreatecontent for speaking engagements that effectively tells our story to a varietyof audiences.Developand manage executive visibility, including social media presence, and speakingengagement strategy and execution.Developslide decks and messaging documents. Leveragemedia opportunities associated with speaking events.Create and fosterrelationships with event contacts, high-level executives, and subject matterexperts.Coach leadershipto act as spokespersons and act directly as a spokesperson as needed.InternalcommunicationsDevelop andexecute an internal communications strategy that aligns with businesspriorities.Developrelationships throughout the organization to inform internal communicationscontent and ensure key functions in the organization are represented.Plan and executeinternal meetings.Develop internalcommunications content, including newsletter stories and employee meetingcontent.Qualifications:Required Skills and Experience:Seven or more years of experience in public or industry relations or related communications field.Experience in executive communications.Experience in PowerPoint deck development and working with graphic designers.Experience developing and executing communication plans.Bachelor???s Degree in communications or related discipline.Desired Skills and Experience:Exceptionalwriting, editing and listening skills, with the ability to learn, understandand simplify business and technical information.Strong skills intopical research (for story development and speaking engagement backgrounderdevelopment).Experienceworking and building relationships with diverse stakeholders to buildcommunications strategies, from building objectives and core messaging, toexecuting on that strategy.Experienceworking with the media preferred, including developing media relationsstrategy, developing story pitches drafting messaging, news releases andrelated materials, securing and tracking coverage, and building relationships.Strongcommunication, interpersonal and organizational skills.The maturity andexperience to manage projects and solve problems with minimal coaching.The ability toprioritize and to juggle multiple projects concurrently while meeting criticaldeadlines. The ability towork effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
