Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable futureSenior Cyber Security Engineer (1805133) – Multiple OpeningsWhere the Chemistry HappensBASF is seeking a subject matter expert like you with progressive experience in security and risk management to drive and support Cyber Security program management, and process methodology related to governance, management, engineering, and operations with experience in supporting project activities to protect against potential threats/breaches and vulnerabilities. Formula for Success Leveraging your educational and/or professional background you will be responsible for ensuring that our cyber defense protections are adequate and effective. You will provide full lifecycle support for all Cyber Security applications, ensure global integration of all services in the delivery network (e.g., operational supplier management), make recommendations to stakeholders and technical management regarding current and future cyber security policy considerations and technologies, based on ongoing assessment, plan and conduct consultations with users, management, vendors, and technical staff to assess security needs and system requirements that may affect business operations.Successfully engaging across the organization, you will proactively identify and prioritize opportunities, develop sustainable solutions, execute operational plans, and effectively manage business relationships designed to champion continuous improvement and overall Cyber Security performance.Your analytical and problem-solving abilities will be essential as you navigate complex IT systems (hardware and software), manage customer projects and/or international subprojects, develop technical concepts, monitor compliance (SLAs, KPIs, and OLAs) while managing competing priorities.Demonstrating your Cyber Security technical expertise and project management skills will be vital as you collaborate and interface with business partners and functional teams where the ability to gain cooperation is critical.
