Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Founded in 1818, the company is headquartered in White Plains, New York.Senior E&I Technician responsible for the support and installation of the site control systems, process control, and for the quality and safe execution of daily and asset reliability of maintenance, electrical and instrumentation work within the site.Core Functions:Facilitates excellent environmental, health and safety performanceFamiliar with both electrical construction and maintenance in manufacturing facility.Experience with 480V systems, three phase motor control circuitsFamiliar with Electrical Code requirements for hazardous location installationsAble to interpret mechanical drawings in order to design and produce CAD drawings of electrical system for new equipmentDirect outside contractors on project workWork with electricians as a technical resource and mentor to help them solve problems.Assist electrician in installation and troubleshooting of electronic equipment such as VFDs, Solid State starters, PLCs, and electronic equipment for temperature, speed, air flow, and other devices necessary for plant operationResponsible for programming and maintaining PLC, HMI, and control Ethernet systems in the plantShared on call responsibilities for plant support of electrical issues with plant process equipmentOther duties as assignedSkill/Experience Requirements:Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or Journeyman Electrician, preferred5+ years experience as a journeyman electrician preferred2+ years of equivalent experience programming, troubleshooting and repairing PLCs (Rockwell/Allen Bradley, Square D SyMax) and distributive control systemsExperience in AutoCAD, preferredComprehension of electrical schematics, blue prints, and P&ID drawingsExperienced in different brands of variable frequency drivesExperienced with maintenance, set-up, and calibration of all types of process instrumentationGood verbal and written communication skillsCandidate must be friendly, collaborative, intelligent and hard workingStandard work schedule on call 24/7, as neededBunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
