Senior Financial Analyst – IB

Industrial Biosciences has an opening in Wilmington for a Business Finance Analyst reporting to the Global Finance Manager of Microbial Control. The role is responsible for supporting Microbial Control with finance analysis and reporting Globally. The role will coordinate, compile and communicate monthly financial outlooks and results tracking for the income statement, key balance sheet and cash flow items. Results tracking will require analyzing month results by identifying variances, determining root causes, guiding and coordinating real-time corrections if needed which will be crucial to management and future forecasting. Candidate must operate well with a cross-culture and global environment. They must understand when urgency is required and provide the appropriate guidance and information that enable business decisions to maximize business profitability and success. Key Responsibilities:Support compilation of the Microbial Control Financial Outlook ? from revenue to EBITDA. Using corroboration with partners (Commercial, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to develop and communicate expected forecast. Support reporting Microbial Control financial results and variance analysis.Coordinate selected monthly Microbial Control Global financial reports, complete variance review, identify errors and initiate corrective actions in an accurate and timely manner.Interface with Business and Controller functions in both heritage DuPont and heritage Dow.Participate in key projects covering but not limited to strategic planning, customer projects and pricing analysis.Integral role in annual budget and long-term financial planning.Ensure adherence to financial policies aligned with corporate guidelines (accounting policy and SOX compliance)Core Competencies:Analysis and judgmentBusiness and Financial AcumenStrong communication and global collaboration skillsCapable of Networking with ease to key contactsSelf-Motivated with a high degree of desire to learn new and different skills/toolsConscious of the responsibility of financial controls and business ethicsQualifications:Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting or Technical Field. MBA strongly preferred.Successful work experience in at least three of the following areas; Business/Function Finance, M&A, Accounting, Plant experience, Credit, Treasury, Tax, or Auditing.Strong computer/systems skills and eagerness to learn new systems, including Excel, PowerPoint, GCAP, Tableau, BW, SAP and Dow Diamond Systems and other Dow Tools.Fluent in EnglishThis role is responsible for a number of time-sensitive deliverables, including non-negotiable corporate reporting deadlines.
