Senior Provisioning Analyst
The North American Service Operations Partner is responsible for governance of the overall change and release process, including planning and execution as well as cross functional back up plans for release activities in North America. This work includes working with the Business, Service Operations, Provider, Regional Capacity and Demand, and Tower Technology Integration resources to identify opportunities to combine enhancements, maintenance, and problem resolution activities into release bundles. The North American Service Operations Partner will support the planning and management of all activities to ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of corresponding changes into the environment. Finally the North American Service Operations Partner will act as a coordination point for the business partners and facilitate the resolution of open issues relative to the utilization of ITIL processes to deliver IT solutions to Cargill businesses.
Principal Accountabilities 30% Process and Solution GovernanceAccountable to drive high performance execution of the change and release processes for Global IT within their assigned region.Review the Change and Release Management processes in conjunction with the Service Integration and Management advisor and Providers to create a roadmap which will bring our execution to or above industry level.Set Region specific performance targets with the Provider and evaluate/enforce performance against targets.? ? ????????????????? 40% Relationship & Service ManagementActs as strategic liaison to Global IT to ensure that globally consistent processes and systems support the business.Assesses requirements, and prioritizes them ensuring alignment with process advisors and across Bus/Functions.Creates and maintains key relationships across a diverse, cross functional Region.Supports the execution of systems and service management processes in the design and implementation for Global IT.Partners with Regional leaders to implement systems for their needs, while ensuring cohesion across Global IT. Applies a deep understanding of process & solution management to determine best practices, and recommends how to improve current practices across the Region.Develops an approach and expertise in assessing risk as change is introduced into the environment. Ensures the risk profile of the change/release process is acceptable to Cargill overall and to specific businesses/functions.? ???????????????? 15% Process Management, Solution Management Regionalization Analysis? ??Recognizes risks, and designs controls to mitigate and/or eliminate risks.Utilizes knowledge of process and practices to understand regional design needs.? 15% Process Execution, Project Execution Value Realization?Provide governance of the Changes and Release processes in the Region to meet business needs without disruption.?Applies extensive knowledge of process & solution management practices to review and assess project change requests, ensuring they go through the appropriate process with input from necessary strategic stakeholders.Partners with key IT and Business stakeholders in the Region, ensuring that they are evaluating, inspecting and identifying all risks and issues.Responsible for leading the Provider(s) on the execution of process implementation deliverables in the Region.Works with the Provider(s) to develop the Regional work plan and schedule.Supports the Provider(s) in the implementation and execution of ?go live? and ?post go live? activities in the Region.Skills:
Other Requirements??Ability to travel globally and regionally up to 15%?Required QualificationsBachelor?s Degree in IT or Business Related field or equivalent work experience.5+ years of IT and business/industry work experience.Possesses a high level competency in Service Management methodologies.Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and business applications, and their relationships.Ability to accomplish results through others (lower level managers, professional employees, cross functional organization, managed service provider).Strong background in ITIL or similar process oriented framework.Experience in project management.Proven experience starting up new services and processes.Desire to effectively participate in a virtual, globally distributed team.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Business fluency in English.Preferred QualificationsMaster?s Degree (MBA).ITIL training, preferred to have an ITIL v2 or v3 Foundations8+ years of IT and business/industry work experience.5+ years of experience in Service Management strategy and/or operations.Experience in a large SAP environment.Experience in operating within a large, global managed services framework.Experience with multiple IT Infrastructure technologies.Ability to analyze complex situations and implement solutions.Contributor to an IT industry body or industry related major corporation advisory group.Work experience in multiple countries or Non-English language skills
