Collect needed equipment and order media in order to apply related protocols
Testing protocols in lab and greenhouse environments to validate technologies and mode of action
Collecting and reporting results of protocol testing.
Analyze research data in team with technologists/senior-technologists/ breeding scientists/ breeding in order to develop processes
Collaborate with technologists/senior-technologists/ breeding scientists/ breeding to identify aberrant observations and have a pro-active role in adapting protocolsfor improvement opportunities
Responsible for restock lab supplies and maintenance of lab equipment.
Keep up to date in latest breeding technology developments by literature study.
Controlling the application of validated technologies by trialing teams.Skills:
Experience required for the jobAt least 2 years of relevant agricultural/field trials/plant breedingworkexperienceMinimum education and critical knowledge required for the jobBachelor diploma in botany, agriculture, or horticulture is required
Experience in horticulture practices in lab, greenhouse and fieldcompetencies
