Senior Wholesale Dealer Manager
Summary of Responsibilities: The Sr. Manager of Wholesale/Dealers is responsible for oversight and coordination of petroleum branded and unbranded sales to retailers. This person will establish relationships with dealers, cultivate new business based on department objectives and manage staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Establish objectives by developing growth plans across multiple states and regions.Oversee implementation of all branded and unbranded programs and corresponding branded business conversations.Promote all image standards and requirements to dealers.Maximize all marketing objectives.Identify funding opportunities from branded suppliers in perspective of obtaining new business.Approve all program proposals and transfers of contractual agreements between suppliers, dealers and legal.Investigate climate of industry to stay competitive regarding obtaining new and maintaining current business.Make financial determinations on budgeting, business planning and profit and loss conditions.Supervise customer pricing and optimize per market conditions.Troubleshoot and resolve problems/issues as it pertains to the petroleum distribution chain.Direct purchase decisions and dealer obligations. Coordinate installations of equipment, software and signage for new-to-brands and site refreshment.Conduct budgeting and long range planning analysis.Keep current on acquisitions and mergers within operating territory.Supervise all administrative requirements.Research all programs instituted by branded supplier on electronic data interchange.Achieve high customer satisfaction on branded mystery shop surveys.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.Participate in senior management meetings.Lead/manage all wholesale/dealer personnel. Qualifications:Bachelor s degree required; advanced degree preferred.Five to Ten years of petroleum wholesale/dealer experience.Strong history of building profitable market share.Influential presentation skills.Excellent written communications skills.Leadership and business acumen competencies.Must be able to travel, trips overnight required.Apply for this job.
