Service Desk Representative
Title: Service Desk RepresentativeOffice Location: Prairie du Sac, WI; Mankato, MN; or Normal, ILPosition Overview: This position provides high-quality customer service to our internal Team Members, responding to requests and issues accurately and timely. Work may include assistance with access requests, work order management, project management, and related software. Responsibilities vary day by day, but may include security administration, troubleshooting software, providing guidance to Team Members, and working with client support teams to address technical issues. The Service Desk individuals have direct interaction with 2nd /3rd level technical teams, the Team Member user base and others as designated.Successful candidate will:Responds to incoming requests to resolve technical problems, regarding equipment and software, including issue identification, basic research, and documented resolution steps.Tracks telephone calls to ensure problems are properly prioritized, monitored, escalated, and resolved appropriately. Ensures the proper day-to-day operation of Citrix, PCs, telephones, and infrastructure.Performs installations, repairs, upgrades, and other maintenance tasks.Supports the security administration of the equipment and information on all computer systems within the company. Maintains security and application access, administers secure and compliant environment, application security and information protection.Leverages system monitoring tools to proactively respond to system generated alerts. Communicates between remote users and internal Business Technology to ensure remote users conform to the company s most current policies, procedures, and hardware and/or software requirements.Remains current on trends and changes within the information systems industry as it relates to the company s technology needs. Collaborates with other business technology team members on complex issues to gain knowledge and understanding. Appropriately protects the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association s systems and data and clients dataMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Associate s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.1 or more years of computer processing, help desk, or other related experience. Knowledge of workstation operating systems/configurations and office productivity software applications. Knowledge of desktop operating systems and configurations; desktop and laptop hardware configurations.Accuracy and attention to detail. Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication and client service skills. Effective organizational and time management skills.
