Corteva?s public affairs interface with the community and its key influencers is vital to the site?s ability to expand to meet business challenges and I-Park opportunities.Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Public Affairs:- Support Corteva?s internal communications to employees & contractors- Monitor and support Community Success Plan, Community and Employee Satisfaction surveys- Gather, write, edit, share and publish internal communication, such as internal job postings, and intranet articles- Manage with Corteva?s social media presence: website, Facebook, Linked in, etc.- Meet with identified on site teams, groups, and leaders to coordinate events, community outreach, volunteerism, grants programs- Run Community Advisor Panel- Compile information from multiple sources to create and distribute internal newsletter, developed a with preexisting template and follow streamlined instructions- Gathered information from meetings, create monthly site communication agendas- Assemble information and news updates. Create and send internal e-mail, flyers, and promotional material- Use graphic art skills to create original promotional posters and flyers, themed events, etc.- Take photos and videos at special eventsAdministrative Support:- Lead and/or assist in event planning for business and community visitors and special functions- Plan and schedule meetings using scheduling software- Perform general administrative tasks including mail, records and file maintenance, travel coordination, payroll entry, procurement of supplies- Assist with Community Grants, Community Engagement- Run ACE (Administrative Center of Expertise) Team- Complete special projects as needed.Qualifications:Required Qualifications:- 3 or more years? experience in an office professional/administration preferably public Affairs/Gov?t affairs experience- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Good interpersonal skills are required.- Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.- Demonstrate leadership skills – inspire others and lead them through influence.- A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.- Must be willing and able to work in such environments wearing safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steeltoed shoes.- Must be willing and able to work in such environments with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.- Must be willing and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.- Must have a current, valid US driver?s license.- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
