We currently have a Site Support Technician II position available at our Simplot Headquarters in Boise, ID.
SUMMARYProvide Tier 2 technical support relating to IT related technologies including desktops, laptops, mobile clients, network, hardware and software systems. Work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Follow prescribed procedures under direct supervision, and assists with installation and implementation as directed by more senior technical resources. RESPONSIBILITIESPerform installations, repair, upgrades, and troubleshooting for software and hardwareProvide installation, troubleshooting and maintenance for all LAN infrastructures Provide server administration, primarily Windows servers
REQUIREMENTSBachelor's Degree from 4 year college or universityThis position requires an entry-level understanding of the PC, laptop, and printer hardware, network connectivity, PC software and clinical software. The position may be required to work varying shifts at a variety of locations, and may include on-call work. Thorough knowledge of technology, personal computers, software and peripheral equipment. Must be proficient in Microsoft.
