Job DetailsDescriptionThe Software Developer Intern will assist in designing, coding, and testing software programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting and modifying software specifications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role provides dynamic projects in cutting edge technologies and the opportunity to work with our farm operations, dealerships and international partnerships.Specific Duties Include:Program software solutions according to specified requirementsTest newly written and existing codeDebug newly written and existing codeMaintain existing productsDocument source codeRead and analyze software from legacy applicationsUtilize task tracking software according to team requirementsUtilize source control tools according to team requirementsWork with team to accomplish solution developmentInteract effectively with team membersAssist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and training materialsMaintain confidentiality of company proprietary solutions and informationProactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill setPerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient mannerFollow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Company/RDO Equipment Co.Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
