Solution Sales Specialist
?BASIC FUNCTION:Reporting to the District Manager, the Solution Sales Specialist is responsible for the growth of sales of DeLaval products within the independent dealer channel. ?A successful Specialist will be results-driven, technically and commercially-focused.??RESPONSIBILITIES:The Solution Sales Specialist work on the day-to-day operational support to the independent dealer channel.Responsible for driving sales with the dealerships.Assist the dealers with joint visits to the farms, with CRM or sales pipeline management, existing clients and performing cold calls.Working with the Solution Managers, the Solution Sales Specialists are responsible for developing training to build the dealership?s competence in sales and product information.Have an understanding of the Capital Goods (CG) and Consumables & Services (C&S) product/service portfolios.Attend sales, trainings and industry meetings to keep abreast of the latest technologies.?REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Ability to work well individually as well as in a teamStrong communicator with the ability to influence othersStrong sales skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsDetail-oriented and well-organizedManage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel 60%?EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:Degree in animal science, technical, agricultural, chemistry or similar area required5+ years of experience in equipment or consumables sales preferredExperience in the dairy industry requiredExperience with the setup of new sales strongly preferredApply for this job.
