Sourcing Technical Manager
The Land OLakes Supply Chain & Operations division provides strategic leadership across the companys many business units. The team plays a significant role in fueling revenue growth and profitability through operational excellence, quality, process improvement and innovation. By partnering closely with Finance, Marketing and Human Resources, the team delivers value to Land OLakes business units, members and customers.Position Purpose:This positionis responsible for developing and implementing a Technical Sourcing strategy. This will require developing relationships and collaborating with key supply chain leadership stakeholders to align on areas of greatest value to be delivered. Focus is enterprise wide involvement with Capital and Packaging spend. Expectation is to identify, develop, and deliver $5MM to $10MM in savings and process efficiencies through a partnership with Engineering, R&D, and QA.Skills:
Experience-Education (Required): 4 year degree or higherAbility to travel up to 30% of the timeCompetencies-Skills (Required): Technical / engineering experiencePossess excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projectsCommunication skills to work across functions, divisions, customers and suppliers.Experience-Education (Preferred): Sourcing experienceAgriculture experienceDegree in Business, Economics, or agricultureGraduate degree a plusExperience managing, negotiating, and executing supplier contractsEOE M/F/Vets/Disabled.
