your BS in business, agronomy or related field + 10 years? work experience
or MBA/MS + 8 years? work experience. We
are looking for someone with 5 years combined marketing, sales,
business development and/or technical support experience, to include
sales and marketing experience.
Experienced
with soybean seed Business
acumen and ability to strategically analyze global reaching factors and
summarize into concise, creative business plans to reach financial goals. Willingness
and ability to travel 25%, primarily domestically. A
plus is you have experience in 3rd party negotiations. A
plus if you have experience working in an environment with complex
intellectual property rights and negotiations. Maximize market sales effectiveness by
providing market analysis and POS opportunities to Credenz Business Lead
and Regional Seed Leads Lead
retailer and grower segmentation efforts for the soybean seed business Monitor,
record and report events occurring in assigned markets — including the
collecting and recording of marketplace intelligence related to 1)
competitors, their market approach; 2) trends, threats and market
opportunities; 3) customer expectations; and 4) any other
events/activities potentially affecting opportunities for BASF to
successfully implement our business plans. Monitor
and analyze market and customer dynamics and their impacts to the
established market strategy
Coordinate
with other key internal and external groups to ensure segment-related
plans are implemented. Provide
strategic direction to sales and oversight on tactical deployment
Strive
to consistently motivate the BASF sales force and distributors by
keeping them informed about our go-to-market strategy. Lead
the development and update of go-to-market concepts detailing mid and
long-term strategies for lead market segments and prepare project plans
for approval
Evaluate,
negotiate, and implement specific 3rd party opportunities Support
other members of the sales & marketing team to help ensure that
company sales and financial goals are achieved. Participate
in ongoing customer interaction to help position BASF and our products Participate
in the development and implementation of industry insights and messages
that are impactful for the BASF organization in identifying market and
