Florham Park, NJWhere the Chemistry HappensWe are seeking a professional like you to join our G-FSI/IAH group which is responsible for Infrastructure Technical Assets Management. An accurate and process driven Assets Management is the key for many other business processes and services, from accounting and investment planning, carve ins and outs, through service delivery processes (automated software distribution, delivery of standard hardware, maintenance activities?) to the cyber security processes. Assets management also fulfills legal requirements and obligations e.g. FRC (Financial Report Compliance), inventory data for hardware and licenses, embedded lease in case of managed service providers. Technical Assets Management is responsible for Asset Detection, which is the basis for an effective vulnerability management and many other security processes. Formula for SuccessYour great attention to detail will serve you well as you identify and register business managed assets (systems and devices) into our configuration management database.Utilizing your solid knowledge of reporting tools and data analysis (SQL, PowerBi and others), you will be responsible for the enrichment of security reports (geolocation, contact research) using several technologies and tools.Successfully engaging within the organization, you will participate in task forces or vulnerability management related activities (together with Security Operations Center, risk management, regional services and our internal business partners). Additionally, you will work with IT leadership, management stakeholders, Purchasing, Finance and/or other stakeholders to continuously optimize the IT Asset Management process.Your robust analytical skills will be a valued asset as you will prepare Scorecards and perform ITAM reporting on a regular schedule (or ad hoc as needed) as well as IT Asset Inventory reports as required for designated stakeholders.Your ability and desire to follow through will be a valued asset as you are responsible for first-time entry of the configuration units, the further maintenance and updating of the CIs and regular verification tasks.As a team player, you will work in close collaboration with the related process-owner, process-manager and service responsible parties in connection with the Configuration Management process. Additionally, you will continually improve your area using KPIs, reports, and process monitoring capabilities and create specific process documentation or working-procedures regarding the area for which you are responsible.Demonstrating your logical and critical thinking skills, you will perform evaluations of the configuration data (e.g. reports, data export) in coordination with the configuration manager, users, the CI owners and Management.Leveraging your solid knowledge in infrastructure technologies, you will act as Configuration Item (CI) Owner (data supplier in the Configuration Management Process and accountable for all CIs of the owned CI Type at global escale) for some CI classes.
