Sr Analyst – Organizational Change Management (OCM)
SUMMARY: The Organizational Change Management Senior Analyst is responsible for collaborating with business, project and Organizational Change Management Lead(s) and team members to support efforts with business leaders and end users through business process, systems and technology. In this role, the Senior Analyst operates as an internal consultant to IS project teams, to provide input to impact assessments and support change management activities with the goal to maximize change adoption/usage and minimize resistance. The Organizational Change Management Senior Analyst will collaborate with the Organizational Change Management Lead(s), project team members and Business Process Owners to support organizational change management plans, activities and materials. Candidates for this position must have demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following areas: organizational change management, audience assessment/stakeholder identification/management, communication planning/content development and editing, training need analysis and training program design, end user training material development/editing, sponsorship and business leader coaching, coaching and mentoring of TEAM members and project teams.REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, Organizational Development, Communication, Training, or other related areaEquivalent work experience may be acceptableCertification in an organizational change management methodology is a plus (ADKAR, Kotter, or internal organizational change management methodology.)Project management certification would also be a plusExperience: 4+ years of experience with responsibility for leading efforts or teams in organizational change management, or related area (training, communications) on large or complex process, technology or organizational change projects (mergers/acquisitions, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects, organization realignments.)Previous experience as internal or external consultant working within all levels of the organization, including executives and business leaders.Working knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (Prosci, Kotter, etc).Computer Skills: Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including active listening, facilitation and presentation skills.Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and work effectively at all levels of the organization.Ability to adjust to different styles.Ability to influence others and move toward common vision without formal authority.Special Skills:Able to align business change initiatives with the corporate vision and mission – see the “big picture”;Able to digest and leverage complex business, organizational and technology issues and challenges;Flexible and adaptable; comfortable working in ambiguous situations.Organized with a natural inclination for translating strategy into tactics and deliverables.Problem solver, experienced in root cause analysis.Team player, with ability to work collaboratively with and through others.Familiar with project management approaches, tools and project lifecycle phases, especially Software/System Development Lifecycle.Able to develop and manage resource and activity estimates and plans for OCM projectsFamiliar with/experience in individual influencer and behavioral issues is a plus.SCOPE DATA: Responsible for supporting project teams and business functions successfully through process and technology changes associate with new solutions implemented by the company. This includes, but is not limited to: Using tools and principles to prepare and provide input on audience assessment, communications strategy planning and execution, communications channel analysis, training requirements, training design and development, sponsorship coaching and training A key to success for this role is developing and maintain relationships with business process owners, project team and OCM team members. Senior organizational change management analysts work with project team leaders, sharing information, identifying and raising issues and concerns, and mentoring project team members including organizational change team members. The ideal candidate would be comfortable managing a variety of projects and working under tight deadlines.Supervisory: None Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
