Position Summary:This position supports Archer Daniels Midland Company?s (ADM) global Compliance program and is responsible for the implementation and continued support of governance, oversight, controls and monitoring procedures for key Compliance programs.
Compliance focus areas include Antitrust/Competition Law Compliance, Anti-Corruption, Trade Compliance, Privacy, Code of Business Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, and related areas.
The position will be based in Decatur, Illinois and will report directly to the Compliance Director, North and Central America. Job Responsibilities:?
Conduct audits of key compliance policies, processes, procedures, controls and systems.
Identify and document deficiencies, recommend and implement remedial actions, publish formal reports and conduct follow-up audits as required.Create new and support on-going monitoring of high compliance risk transactions to verify compliance with Company policies, laws and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain Compliance Department metrics, which includes layering data from multiple sources and systems to be used for risk assessments, trending and routine reporting to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Assist the global compliance team with the writing of compliance communications, new and revised policies, coordinate translations with a third party translation vendor, maintain and update the compliance intranet page and resource centers. Interact with employees at all levels and potential business partners in order to obtain information required to conduct third party due diligence reviews.
Conduct due diligence reviews on potential business partners and acquisition targets aligned with internal guidelines. ?
Monitor local laws and recommend changes to guidelines, policies, procedures and training as appropriate.

Develop and manage training programs.
Conduct training for colleagues and proposed business partners.
Any other responsibilities, as may be considered necessary to support and advise management on ADM?s standards of business conduct.
Qualified lawyer, auditor or accountant preferred.Minimum of three years of compliance-related work experience.
This may include corporate compliance and ethics department, a law or accounting firm, internal audit or other comparable experience of monitoring compliance or enforcing rules and regulations.
Must be fluent in English, although knowledge of another language would be beneficial.Experience working in or supporting an international business is preferred.Familiarity with laws and regulations related to anti-corruption, antitrust, data privacy and/or trade compliance is desirable.High level of motivation, team-player mindset, and results-oriented way of working.Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.Experience using analytical tools for creation of metrics and monitoring routines preferred.
