Sr. Corporate Account Manager – US Foods
Land O'Lakes Dairy Foods division is a leading marketer of a full line of dairy-based consumer, foodservice and food ingredient products across the United States. This division also includes Global Dairy Ingredients that sells a portfolio of value-added dairy ingredients (specialty powders, milk powder, cheese, butter and whey) and offers expertise to large international customers.
Purpose:Position is responsible for sales leadership for Gordon Foodservice, Performance Food Group, and Reinhart. The incumbent will develop customer-specific growth strategies aligned with Land O'Lakes corporate planning recommendations.The position will also drive 'Local' execution through the Land O'Lakes Distribution team and Waypoint (National Broker).The chosen candidate will be expected to execute with focus and accountability and will engage, influence, and inspire cross-functional teams to help drive dynamic growth.Roleincludes:-Corporate cross-functional sell-in of strategies and tactics. This includes the development of plans,cross-functional relationship building, and the leveraging of Land O'Lakes corporate center- Communication and execution leadership through LOL Distribution and Waypoint field sales team. Incumbent will be required to travel to key markets to attend LOL and Waypoint meetings and to call on local operating companies- Strategic account development, which will include a deep understanding ofstrategic growth plans and internal Land O'Lakes cross-functional influence.Position will require significant time spent at LOL headquarters to develop relationships, educate key stakeholders, and influence strategy to drive account volume and financial growth- Leadership of local product training events at Waypoint offices and localOPCO's- Administration including expense reporting, budget management,scorecard development and reporting, competitive activity reportingExperience-Education (Required):- 4 year degree – 7 or more years of Foodservice or RetailexperienceCompetencies-Skills (Required):- Demonstration of integrity in products, processes and relationships. Specifically, the chosen candidate will build a sense of trust internally with cross-functional teams and externally with customer- Executes with focus and accountability. Specifically, the development of creative approaches to problems and opportunities. Also, theexperience and abilities to anticipate the evolution of the industry and customer needs. – Category management experience.
