The candidate is primarily responsible for driving success of the device and automation portfolios, overseeing all aspects of marketing for Zoetis” Embrex device portfolio and hatchery automation portfolio including commercialization, field trials and market optimization. In addition, this position also provides marketing support to the field service organization, The position works with sales, marketing and field services to implement strategic and tactical marketing activities tailored for the customer base and will oversee and manage business strategies and marketing activities that require the ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams. In addition, this person must have the expertise to participate in a wide range of supplier, partner and customer relationship meetings. The US Poultry business is the lead market for Zoetis poultry markets globally, so this candidate also plays a prominent role in leading/influencing the development of marketing strategies around the world. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES* Direct all marketing efforts for bio devices and automation including positioning, brand strategy, pricing, research, and forecasting/budgeting* Helps drive all phases of device and automation market and service introductions* Evaluates new product and market opportunities for in-line franchise* Manages Bio Device marketing communications/metrics and builds Embrex-brand equity* Maintains contact with key customers and industry influencers, in coordination with commercial operations* Works with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, technical, engineering and manufacturing to develop and execute the operations marketing plan to achieve Zoetis” financial goals for the Embrex and automation portfolios* Coordinates with other Marketers to identify synergies that maximize the total return* Updates equipment product profiles for products in development and business development targets* Partners with Outcomes Research team to design and execute Bio Device field trials and studies* Coordinates product line market research (e.g. customer satisfaction, competition, industry trends)* Tracks and analyses competitive devices activity* Helps conduct product training with our field sales and field service teams as appropriate* Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* 7-10+ years of marketing, marketing communications, market research, strategy consulting, or equivalent academic/industry experience required* Biomedical Device and/or Capital Equipment marketing experience preferred* Field Services experience a plus* MBA PreferredTECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS* Negotiate and influence cross-functional teams* Strategic thinking* Strong marketing knowledge and skill* Analytical thinking* Planning and organization skills* Strong communication skillsPHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS* Overnight travel ~25-30%* The employee”s usual work location is in an office environment, but must travel as requiredApply for this job.
