POSITION SUMMARY:The US Poulty industry is very consolidated with the top 10 cpompanies accounting now for more than 90% of the animal numbers in the U.S. This position will be responsible for implementing account based marketing programs to, develop and retain business within the top strategic accounts Working in close alignment with sales and technical teams the Corporate Account Marketing Manager will identify a structured approach to customization, building deep and relevant relationships in the top accounts to improve customer experience throughout the customer journey, strengthen relationships, drive retention and growth, and create customer advocacy.The role sits within the Pork/Poultry marketing team and demands a highly targeted approach, due to size and complexity of the accounts, Whilst this is a cross-function role, a key part of the role is to build a customer community that encourages dialogue and give Zoetis and customers the opportunity to interact/engage in new ways.The candidate must be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of key account marketing mix optimization, communications planning and execution in a B2B environment. The position is a highly visible customer facing role within the company. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Understand and translate sales objectives (both opportunity and relationship-based) into objectives and project plans for marketing support *Define account-based goals and objectives in conjunction with sales. Work with sales directors and managers to define account based goals and objectives and develop effective account based marketing plans to support each account. Work cross functionally to align efforts. *Work with sales to identify gaps in the top strategic accounts (information, products, etc) *Partner with sales to raise awareness of the potential role of marketing within global accounts *Build out processes/structure to create thought leadership content and customer success/advocacy stories *Execute marketing programs on behalf of sales, and demonstrate to reps how they can execute program elements on their own *Collaborate with product marketing/management to drive product usage, stickiness and evangelism within the top accounts. *Monitor, measure and report the impact of account based marketing *Report on targeted accounts activities and results to manager and PPLT when requested*Gain insight from other species teams in best practices in strategic marketing*Measure changes in customer behavior EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * BS required, DVM, MBA, PhD increases potential impact with large accounts * 10+ year Sales, Technical Service and or Marketing experience * Experience with large production companies * Exposed to large integrated companies including processing, sales and marketing * Demonstrated ability and previous experience in working at the C-Suite level of large organization * Ability to work as a team member and contribute to a team goal * Ability to work effectively with multiple functional teams * Strong presentation skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Understands marketing and strategic planning and can apply to customer situations TECHNICAL SKILLS: * Effective financial analysis skills and proven ability to manage budgets and expenses * Strong computer skills (MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems) * Effective individual and group presentation skills * Understands pork economics in production and in processing – financially astute * Technically adept PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Travel 50% of the time * Will work in pork production facilities occasionally * Walking, sitting, able to left 75 lbs. * Expect weekend and evening work as customer needs dictateApply for this job.
