Sr. Marketing Manager
This position will be responsible for the deli brands and private label portfolio, prepared foods and snacking category go-to-market strategy.? Deli brands include Castlewood Reserve, Charter Reserve and Honest Turkey.
50% Brand ManagementPlan, develop and direct marketing efforts for brand, positioning and advertising strategy.Perform ongoing business and competitive analysis to drive brand performance, leveraging syndicated and proprietary data.Analyze market trends and implement marketing and product strategies.Own agency partner relationship and collaborate to to develop and implement marketing tactics to achieve goals.Lead and/or participate in sales presentation with targeted customers.Responsible for brand budget and cost implications for all activities.Responsible for developing and implementing annual Deli brand and private label plan; leveraging consumer insights and category management to guide decisions and growth within the category with targeted customers.Alignment with Business Manager on volume and margin objectives for brand programs; robust performance metrics tied to goals.25% Advertising and Promotion ManagementDevelop and own customer centric marketing initiatives to ensure marketing dollars are leveraged efficiently and effectively with targeted customers.Responsible for maintenance of ongoing integrated brand image and message throughout all advertising, packaging and promotional assets.Collaborate and align with Business Manager, Innovation and Sales to develop strategic partnership and programs with key accounts.Leads the preparation for internal and external presentations for brand and private label opportunities.Lead and collaborate with agency partner, Communication Director and other key stakeholders to effectively and efficiently develop highly targeted media plans.Develop support plans for new products to drive trial and repeat purchase.25% Innovation and new Product DevelopmentLeverage consumer insights and category data to identify and assess market opportunities and understand consumer demand.Develop charter for brand product development and project lead from inception to market.Provide strategic marketing direction to identify growth opportunities and a clear path to get there through concepts, business case development and alignment with Business Managers, R&D lead and Product Line Managers for commercialization.Other RequirementsTravel? Required QualificationsBachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or a related field.7 years experience in the areas of Marketing, Advertising and Sales promotion.Understanding of brand management disciplines, key marketing strategies, media and selling strategies.Strong creative and analytical skills as well as the ability to be a conceptual thinker.Strong self starter and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time..Ability to clearly communicate
