Establishes recruiting strategies to attract, pipeline, recruit and ?hire leading talent for the GROWMARK home office, facilities, Member Companies, and the Retail Divisions.? Provides leadership to the development and administration of the company?s Affirmative Action plans (AAP) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies. ?Encourages and promotes diversity initatives throughout the GROWMARK System.?SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHP?Leads, directs and develops the Talent Acquisition and Member Employment ?Teams. Serves as GROWMARK?s AAP officer.?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Establishes overall talent acquisition strategy and diversity initiatives for all of the GROWMARK System by working with key exececutive and management level staff.?Oversees the development and? implementation of the GROWMARK System recruitment strategy to attract and recruit top talent through employment branding, job marketing, utilizing leading edge sourcing and selection practices, talent forecasting and gathering & understanding business needs.?Works with senior leadership at the Member Companies and Retail Divisions to assess talent needs and develop pipelining and recruiting strategies.? Sets the direction in recruiting strategy with the Sr Recruiter ? Member Operations and Sr Manager, Strategic Recruiting.? This includes the development/administration of standardized processes and methods ?for qualifying jobs, recruiting marketing, sourcing, interviewing, ?and hiring, while assuring alignment with Member Cooperative recruiting efforts.?Develops and uses recruiting metrics to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and talent pipelining plans.Evaluates external labor market conditions and internal employee turnover trends to recommend changes to the organization's recruitment strategies. ?Adapts existing recruitment activities to changing market conditions as needed.?Manages ongoing relationships with recruitment agencies to ensure satisfactory standards of service.Provides leadership, development and administration of the company?s Affirmative Action/EEO Plans/Programs.? Responsible for integrating numerical AA goals and timetables for compliance with targeted goals.? Designs and implements internal audit and reporting metrics that measure the effectiveness of AAP/EEO initiatives.? ?Measures and assesses the attainment of goals for future strategies.? Identifies AAP/EEO compliance issues and recommends solutions to management.? Keeps executive management informed of EEO progress and reports potential compliance issues through periodic reports.Develops and implements activities aimed at increasing employment opportunities for targeted populations and guides those recruitment efforts.? Ensures recruitment activities are in compliance with? established policies and AAP employment and non-discriminatory obligations.Provides training programs on legal compliance for managers and supervisors.Develops, maintains and coordinates working relationships with governmental agencies, industry organizations and external resources.? Maintains current knowledge of related legislation, policies, and guidelines to provide professional consultation?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Maintains a current knowledge concerning AAP, EEO, and privacy related legislationFollows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they applyPerforms all other duties as assigned?REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a Bachelor?s degree in human resources, business or related field and at least 10 years of employment experience or the equivalent, experience in EEO/AAP iniatives, and demonstrated ability to provide talent recruitment and selection leadership to GROWMARK, Inc.Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill developmentAbility to develop, recommend and administer EEO/AAP programs.? Ability to conduct operational and statistical analysis inherent in EEO/AAP program development and administrationNormally requires a certificate/certification in an appropriate SHRM or other recognized courseworkUnderstanding of AAP and EEO relevant laws, rules and regulationsSkilled in statistical research and analysis, compliance strategy, and program executionProfessional presentation, communication, persuasion, and technology skillsMust have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving recordWill be required to travel independently and overnight when necessaryAbility and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
