Sr Operations Administrator – Spice Room

SUMMARY: Aid in inventory control and adjustment through inventory count. Assist in releasing inventory needed from vendors. Support packaging and manufacturing departments for needed supplies. Shipping and receiving all Claryville materials management inventory. REQUIREMENTS: Aid in inventory control. Responsibilities in inventory count. Assist in releasing inventory as needed from vendors. Support packaging and manufacturing departments for needed supplies. Cleaning as needed per department schedule. Weighing up Spice for product blends to support Manufacturing. Shipping and receiving all Claryville materials management inventory. Must be able to read and understand blend ticket information. Education: HighSchool Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 3+ years of manufacturing experience required. PIT experience required. Inventory control experience preferred. Computer Skills: Basic knowledge computers skills. Regular usage of telecommunicationequipment, handheld computer, LAN, or WAN, minicomputer, and SAP. Communication Skills: Teamwork setting that requires coordinating work with others in the department/functional area on a formal basis. Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with internal and external contacts. Special Skills: Ability to plan activities and priorities specific to the job – decisions impact immediate work group, but can also go beyond to entire plant. Includes non-standard work duties that require the ability to know correct standard procedure for each situation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to perform basic math equations. Ability to read and write basic information. Ability to manipulate objects and manual dexterity. Ability to withstand frequent exposure to excessive noise levels and vibrations. Ability to operate PIT and Yard Tractor. Ability to repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 80 pounds. Ability to walk or stand for 8-12 hours per day on hard floors. Ability to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, spices. Ability to work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperature of 40 degrees. Ability to withstand wet; humid, cold, and hot environments. Ability to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ability to pass a drug screen and physical. Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that can include overtime and weekends.
