Chicago, ILADM Investor Services, Inc.This is an exempt level position.The Staff Accountant / Fee Analyst will be responsible for exchange fee and balance sheet reconciliations, regulatory reporting, journal voucher posting, account and expense analysis, financial analysis and various projects, accounts payable, cash entries, give up and give in reconciliation, assist in brokerage and exchange fee audit.
He/she will work closely with the accounting group and report directly to the Accounting supervisor to maximize development, learning and departmental efficiency.Job Responsibilities:? Reconcile and review ADMIS futures exchange fees payments? Prepare/Document processes and procedures? Analysis revenues, expenses and accounts payable? Communicate monthly results to accounting management? Process accounts payable and accruals using ADM accounting systems? Reconciliation of various balance sheets? Communicate and enforce division and company key controls and policies? Daily & Monthly bank reconciliations? Review and analyze expense allocations? Assist in annual audits? Assist management on special projects as needed? Minimal travel is requiredJob Requirements:? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting.? Minimum 5 years accounting experience.? Understanding of All Major U.S. and Foreign futures exchange fee policies? Experience reconciling exchange fees? Familiarity with CME Exchange Fee System? Experience with or willing and able to learn GMI (Sungard), Hyperion and ADM accounting systems.? Familiarity with DUCO Cube Software? Occasional extended hours depending on unique business developments? Strong analytical abilities, initiative and problem solving skills.? Ability to work independently? Effective oral and written communication skills? Must be very proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access? Promotes the ADM Way and Core ValuesPreferred Qualifications:?
