Project Development (1803960) Where the Chemistry HappensWe are seeking a professional like you to support the BASF Corporation 2025 growth strategy by developing and managing large capital projects valued above %2415M. The project development group supports business units in developing their investment projects and executing them after Initial Approval. Projects are new chemical plants, major expansions, and debottlenecking of existing plants and infrastructure facilities.Formula for Success As a role model, you will be driving compliance with all EHS policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a Zero Incident mindset in the implementation of capital projects, while championing BASF?s commitment to safety at all times.Leveraging your educational background and your in-depth professional experience in project development and project execution for large capital projects, you will provide support to the business units on developing scope and strategy to effectively develop and execute large capital investment projects throughout North America.Successfully engaging across the organization, you will interact on an as-needed basis with colleagues such as Operations Directors and Managers, TES Technology Managers, Business Technology Managers, Site Management, Project Managers, Contractors and Procurement to prepare large capital projects to achieve Initial Approval.Your strong interpersonal and communications skills will be a valued asset as you manage all disciplines throughout the project execution to achieve the project objectives.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
