Come join us on our journey to create solutions for a sustainable future Where the Chemistry Happens The BASF Crop Protection business is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic State Registration Manager with excellent project management skills, communication skills, and leadership ability. State Registration Manager (1603054) As State Registration Manager you will join the BASF team and have the primary responsibility for registering products and maintaining licenses to operate at the state level. You will report to the Manager, State Registrations & Labeling, and work with members of the North American Regulatory Affairs Department and business and technical colleagues across the country, as well as state agencies and industry groups, to plan the timely establishment and maintenance of BASF Crop Protection products in states. Formula for Success: You Will Provide strategic leadership and direction with a concentration in Midwestern states and states with extensive data requirements, such as California.Integrate the needs of marketing into registration packages that are capable of satisfying state requirements.Oversee and manage new uses, instructions, and claims as they pertain to labeling in the marketplace.Manage critical deadlines as a constant factor, interacting with and obtaining work from colleagues to meet those deadlines.Monitor state regulatory activities through interaction with industry and state regulatory associations.Provide regulatory support and service to internal technical managers, business managers, and company customers.Provide regulatory support and stewardship to state regulatory agencies.Create Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you. Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in YouBachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline with 9+ years of experience in some phase of the pesticide or other regulated industry OR MS with 7+ years of experience OR PhD with 5+ years of experienceTechnical understanding of chemical and biological processes as they relate to the use, research, development and registration of pesticides; Understanding of specific federal/state rules and guidelinesDemonstrated strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with excellent verbal/written communication skillsExcellent project management skills; Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently under time constraintsAdvanced level PC skills. Proficient in MS Excel and skilled in email applicationsPreferred:MS or PhD Degree in scientific field or business related disciplineKnowledge of database and systems developmentApply for this job.
