CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Cenex ZipTrip group. We are looking for a Store Manager to be responsible for the operation of the store. You must have excellent customer service skills along with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. You will:Manage the overall operation of the store to include hiring, training, coaching, conducting performance reviews and taking appropriate corrective and disciplinary action with employees as needed.Ensure all customers receive excellent service including quick, tactful handling of complaints.Ensure that sales are generated at the highest practical level. Direct store marketing activities and promotion programs to increase sales and market share.Reconcile purchase orders with delivery invoices in order to maintain the flow of inventory.Ensure monthly and annual performance objectives, as set by the business unit management, are met for the store and the employees.Interact with vendors and maintain proper inventory levels to fulfill customer needs and wants within company guidelines.Ensure buildings, equipment and grounds are clean and inviting as well as properly stocking and rotating merchandise.Monitor cashier, vendor and customer activity to discern theft or dishonesty.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)High school diploma or GED2 plus years of retail sales experiencePreferred Qualifications: (desired)2 plus years of supervisory experienceApply for this job.
