Position Summary:This position is responsible for securing supplies and services for facility and providing clerical support. Also, assisting with purchasing equipment, parts and supplies for maintenance and manufacturing operations, as directed. Core Functions:Create Purchase Orders in SAPRequest material numbers for stock parts in SAPSet up and maintain items for automatic orderMaintain changes to storeroom materials in SAP as directedAssist employees with locating of items in the storeroom using SAP system and other resourcesProvide back up support to Shipping/Receiving clerk by unloading trucks with forklift, processing shipmentsProperly handle discrepancies between orders and receiptsWorks closely with Accounts Payable to ensure that all purchase orders are entered correctly to facilitate proper invoice processingDemonstrate the following core values and guiding behaviors which are expected of all employees at Bunge North America: Integrity, Openness and Trust, Teamwork, Citizenship, and Entrepreneurship.Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience:Basic math skillsGood verbal communication skillsHigh School Diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 years work purchasing and/or inventory control experience within an industrial setting.Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, SAP preferredHigh energy and positive attitude is a must.Should be familiar with procurement, accounting and maintenance terminology.
