Provimi leverages the research capability and extensive knowledge of over 350 nutritionists, veterinarians, and scientists with access to some of the best information available about animal nutrition and performance in order to develop the best offerings to serve our customer base to satisfy their specific needs and requirements.Position Overview:The Strategic Account Manager (SAM), will be focused on developing strategic mutually beneficial relationship with highly complex integrated broiler, turkey and layer accounts. The SAM will be accountable for building/transforming relationships into long-term, mutually? beneficial and sustainable relationships. Cargill Premix & Nutrition (CPN) seeks to build a strong customer-centric business.? As the SAM for CPN, you will ensure delivery of world-class customer experience and a growth in sales by defining the strategic direction with the customers.This position will be responsible to develop and manage several strategic accounts.? This includes all aspects of account leadership, discovery of value opportunities, account planning, coordinating the ongoing delivery of products and services, and communications with senior leaders in the customers? organizations.??This position will be responsible for coordinating a team approach to our customer, leverage our technical expertise by providing practical knowledge of technical solutions to support their production system and business growth. This involves knowledge of live production practices, facilities and nutrition programs. This position requires production performance monitoring and analysis as an important component of customer service.Principal Accountabilities35% Customer RelationsCoordinates a multi-functional team that represents Cargill Premix & Nutrition (CPN) and develops multiple points of contact with the customer, from the barn to the boardroom. The individual will cultivate strong relationships with their counterpart in the customer organization, and develops a deep understanding of the customers? business and the customers objectives.? Engage senior leaders in the annual account planning process and in regular progress updates.Develops mutual trust and credibility with key decision makers within the customers? organization and cultivates internal champions.??Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates the customer objectives on an ongoing basis.Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.30% Account ManagementResponsibility for all account management core processes including customer information gathering (CRM System), technical deployment, account planning and delivery of customer solutions.Develop and implement effective business strategies with current customers to grow business on a profitable basis with current key accounts and develop new business with prospective targeted accounts.?Business planning and development on execution of annual sales strategy for assigned accounts based on strategic importance, understanding of CAN market segments, first-hand customer information and in alignment with overall business unit strategy.Enables Provimi to meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.25% Customer Solutions & ValueResponsible for bringing technical expertise to provide clients nutrition knowledge from Cargill Premix & Nutrition (CPN). Helping the customer understand how Cargill Animal Nutrition/ Cargill Premix & Nutrition can provide solutions for them and improve profitability.??Solution selling approach in development and grow by identifying customer objectives, and delivering back to the customer, solutions that deliver measurable value.?Leads identification and creation of a solution that best enable the customers to achieve their objectives, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.10%? Collaboration & Resource AllocationLead without authority and coordinate multifunction teams that will contribute to influence or impact the execution of the plan.Coordinates the involvement of company resources, including support, service, people and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers? expectations.Skills:
Minimum Required QualificationsBachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience10+ years of account management experience in poultry and/or animal nutrition, or feed additives market.Proven track record of building relationships and trust with highly complex integrated organizationThe ability to lead multi-function teams without authority and galvanize this team to be customer centric.Superior analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve highly ambiguous problems.??Desire, passion, history of building strong customer relationships.??Excellent communications skills with both internal and external customers.Strong communication skills (listening, written and verbal).High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.Cross-functional collaboration within the business.Willingness to travel 40-60% of the time.Preferred QualificationsMaster?s degree in business, agriculture, marketing or another related field.10+ years of sales experience in poultry industry, animal nutrition or feed additives market.Experience selling and providing technical support to egg producers.
