The Strategic Support Manager II (SSM II) role is a senior-level position within the Customer Support team and reports to the Director of Customer SupportServing as the main supply chain contact for external customers, the SSM II will provide best in class strategic customer support to forecast and manage supply chain demands of key accountsThis role requires strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skillsThis role also requires the ability to work independently, exhibit sound judgment and a strong customer centric mindsetThe SSM II position operates in a fast paced and demanding work environment and is expected to present a professional image to both external customers and internal team members Job Responsibilities:
Enhance brand equity with key customers through excellence in order planning and executionBuild and maintain customer relationships that drive efficiency and profitabilityParticipate in and lead customer facing meetings and eventsDevelop a thorough understanding of customers? business to proactively manage supply chains that meet customer expectations and minimize delaysLead and/or participate on cross-functional teams to resolve customer issuesProvide timely communication and follow through, both external and internal, for key account concernsCreate and manage all aspects related to supply chain agreements for assigned customersCoordinate customer order execution activities within the overall organization, with a high level of focus on:
Sales and Operations Planning Process
Forecasting and Demand Management for all relevant products
Master Production Scheduling and Master Planning of Resources (MRP)
Procurement Identify Customer Support process gaps and inefficiencies and present solutionsMake effective decisions in fast-paced business environment while accepting the responsibility to explain the business logic through business planning and analytical presentationsUnderstand strategic goals of the business unit and align personal goals accordinglyExcellent understanding of internal business processes Portray a positive image of the company and self when interacting with customers and colleaguesPrepare, submit, and monitor daily and ad hoc reportsFamiliarity with and adherence to all ISO procedures and requirementsApply for this job.
