Come grow with us!?General Purpose and Scope of Position:??The Crop Protection Strategy Lead develops, coordinates and executes the national CP supplier strategy across their assigned market.? The Strategy Lead?s key responsibility is communication and execution of the national and assigned area Crop Protection strategy.? In addition, The Strategy Lead has a key role in negotiating both cost and supply as well as developing supplier relationships.? The Strategy Lead will act as an advocate for Wilbur-Ellis both nationally and within assigned region.? Finally, the Strategy Lead will play an active role in monitoring, tracking and fulfilling rebates and program management.?Key Skills and Abilities:?Extensive and deep knowledge of the Agriculture and Crop Protection industry including knowledge of regional cropping trends, markets and crop economicsAbility to serve as a regional liaison and negotiate competitive positions with suppliers and vendors in support of national strategyAbility to foster teamwork to achieve goals that align regionally and nationally including maintaining and directing supplier strategy and product selection and coordination of local supplier opportunities within assigned regionSolid skill in ensuring business processes associated with Crop Protection purchasing are adopted and followedDeep understanding of national and regional rebate redemption processesStrong track record in inventory management and managing working capitalAbility to effectively present information and influence key stakeholders without authorityStrong analytical skills and ability to turn data analysis into opportunities and strategiesAbility to coordinate and manage Crop Protection Sales and Operations Planning for the regionAbility to lead and execute with a deep organizational awarenessAbility?to travel up to 50%?Key Personal Attributes:?Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to manage communication with all levels of the organizationStrategic approach coupled with the ability to analyze data, metrics, and programsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple projectsSolid and trusted relationships among peers and industry contactsProven track record in current and previous roles?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:?Directing and communicating the regional strategy for Crop Protection including planning, procurement, product selection, inventory control, logistics, distribution, rebate tracking, and collection in support of the national Crop Protection strategyMaintaining strong regional relationships with all Crop Protection vendors including enhancing business to business relationships and developing aligned regional strategies that support and achieve national objectivesCoordinating regional product use analysis and modeling to support Sales and Operational Planning for Crop ProtectionMonitoring regional inventory levels and supply of Crop ProtectionCommunicating the Crop Protection supplier strategy, programs, pricing, and key information throughout the division.?
