The developmental program includes formal training/education and will be tailored to the intern's background/previous experience. On intern's entry to the program, Standardization & Engineering Division management will design a specific training/development plan with increasingly complex assignments to enable success in the field.?ResponsibilitiesThe duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.The duties may include, but are not limited to:Ability to compile and analyze data for interpretation by S and E engineers and management.Assists the S and E Division management in conducting motion studies of sample handling procedures in classing office operations to determine the most efficient and practical methods.Participates in the planning and execution of studies on cotton testing instruments and methods for evaluating cotton quality.Operates cotton testing instruments for study purposes and ensures that all study plans are strictly followed and conform to established policies and regulations.Adheres to Equal Employment and Civil Rights policies, goals, and objectives in performing the duties of this position.Assures that written and oral communications are bias-free and that differences of other employees and clients are respected and valued.?Travel RequiredOccasional travel – Travel for training and work assignments may be required.?Supervisory statusNo?Promotion Potential5Apply for this job.
