Summer Production Student Assistant – Maintenance
The Summer Production Student Assistant – Maintenance will assist the Maintenance Supervisor/ Coordinator in updating location spare parts inventory, equipment/infrastructure blueprints in AutoCAD and computer SAP database. The student will be responsible for updating systems with duties including but not limited to: gas trains electrical, pneumatics, infrastructure blueprints dust systems and Stockroom inventory.
Duties/Responsibilities: The assistant will play an important role in updating the locations blueprints. The assistant will be exposed to a number of duties performed by DuPont Pioneer management in the day to day maintenance activities. The assistant will be assigned special projects as needed by management.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding technical maintenance techniques and developing blueprint layouts set forth in the job description. Qualifications:Candidates will be pursuing a degree in an Ag Systems Technology or Ag engineering related field; sophomore standing or above. The intern must possess great communication skills, computer skills, the ability to work with little supervision, basic knowledge of engineering and AutoCAD applications, and thorough attention to detail. An engineering background is preferred.
