SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members, for quality, safety, and any additional assignments deemed appropriate, by management for this position. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability, assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies, food safety, sanitation and all other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: At least one (1) year experience in the pork or Beef industry; experience on the Cut/Converting process preferred. Must have general knowledgeof production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields, and USDA regulations. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual skills helpful. Supervisory Skills: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.
