SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members; for quality, safety, and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management for this position. The individual in this position must work closelywith the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability, assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies, food safety, sanitation and all other dutiesas d determined by management.REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience At least one (1) year experience in the pork or Beef industry. Experience on Slaughter/Kill Floor preferred. Must have generalknowledge of production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields, and USDA regulations. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills helpful. Supervisory: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities. Special Skills: Team Leader, problem solving, and special projects; extra consideration given to team members with technical skills; must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
