Supply Chain Analyst
The Supply Chain Analyst supporting planning and analytics capabilities needed to support the Salt group strategy of delivering superior service at best cost.? As part of the Supply Chain Planning team this role will support the integrated business planning processes with supporting analytics and providing insights using supply chain planning practices and procedures to activities such as, but not limited to, Integrated Business Planning process, technology strategy, and Manufacturing Excellence. Analyzes and supports complex internal/external benchmark reports and activities across teams.
35% – Supply Chain Analytics Capabilities
??Create, deploy, and sustain Salt Group Supply Chain analytics capabilities
??Provides insight to improvement projects and commitments requiring a substantial understanding of supply chain planning practices, procedures, technology, and data needs.
??Lead internal and cross functional discussions and ensure that optimal analytics capability decisions are made to support the analytics and decision support needs of Supply Chain Planning and Integrated Business Planning. Examples include what if analysis, data visualization, and process storyboards.
??Applies deep knowledge of analytics and supply chain planning practices and procedures to identify areas of improvement and across analytics and decision support technologies, practices, and processes.
??Develop and deploy training and support structure for analytics and decision support activities within Supply Chain
35% – Reporting and Analysis
??Tracks and analyzes KPIs (key performance indicators) across analytics technologies and processes. Implements and recommends actions to improve best practices across team.
??Provide analytical support for Salt group initiatives and analyze supply chain metrics to recommend and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
??Independently conducts ad hoc analysis and reports. For example: what if analysis
20% – Business Partnership
??Collaborates with peers in other BUs and/or externally (i.e. customers, user communities).
??Use broad knowledge and supply chain planning practices and procedures to analyze and tracks service level agreements for key stakeholders.
??Work with Salt Group analytics teams, Global IT, and BOSC team to develop and deploy analytics capabilities and process integration.
??Translate business needs into business cases and business requirements for interaction with process and/or technology providers.
10% – Talent Management
??Provides informal coaching and/or training to extended supply chain team members, including coaching Cargill core values.
??May participate in selection of supply chain planning employees and provide input on plans for future workforce needs.
??Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, finance or other related field
??2 years of business experience
??Strong collaboration and influencing skills

??Ability to travel 10% of time
??APIC's certification/ Supply Chain certification?
