Supply Chain Characterization Analyst

CortevaAgriscience?, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont? has an excitingopportunity for a Supply Chain Characterization Analyst. The purpose of this role is to assignaccountability for the end-to-end Supply Chain Quality Processes.   This position is responsible for theanalysis and interpretation of commercial product line quality results,characterization of commercial inventory, and inventory movements in R/3 basedon quality information.  Communicate andexecute variance requests, retags and recalls to the Commercial Unitteams.  Review, analyze and respond tocustomer service (DPTrak) call information and requests.  Identify issues, initiate corrective actionsand maintain regular communications with multiple groups internally and externally(including production locations). Develop and implement consistent business process improvements andsystems that enhance Integrated Operations ability to effectively executesupply estimation and communication process.  Capability to manipulate data to interpret supply, quality, and demandsignals to help accurately estimate inventory available for sales.  Position duties will include:This positionwill also coordinate the frequent compilation and distribution of the qualityand inventory information to business managers, production locations, andlogistics partners.  Identify and developconsistent business process improvements and systems that enhance IntegratedOperations ability to develop and execute plans for all product lines.  Improve the integration of the supply processwith the processes of other departments within the Corteva brands. Evaluate commercialquality for suitability for sales. Review inventory characterization against current allocations todetermine the ability to meet current and future sales demand.  Review Quality concerns entered by location and respond to theconcerns.   Implement and participate in commercial recall, retag and varianceprocesses with the Commercial Units.  Work with Account Managers/Agronomists and others in reviewing andanswering customer service calls.Work with the production locations and seed labs to ensure testingis occurring in a timely, legal and accurate manner.Provide guidance to locations on data integrity regarding supplyin R/3. Develop processes to monitor inventory accuracy. Ensure supply meets Corteva Market Specifications andstate/federal tagging & packaging requirements.Developprocess improvements related to supply/demand and risk management models andprovide system support to production locations.Produceand distribute plans and reports that outline production strategies/risks, seedquality, available to sell quantities, and distribution plans.Teamwith Analysts to evaluate and draw conclusions from supply and demandinformationProvide business andtechnical link between Asset Scheduling, Logistics and Inventory functionalteams.Qualifications:To be qualified for thisrole, you must possess the following:Bachelor?s degree in
supply chain or Ag related fieldsKnowledge of
agriculture and seed production2-3 years of Ag related
experienceWorking knowledge of
Access, Excel. Working knowledge of,
or ability to learn, data analysis and statistical toolsHave the ability to
work with team members, location personnel, and internal business contactsMust be able to work
within a multitask environment. Good written and spoken
communication skills. Ability to provide
training for proper use of systems.Innovative thinking with solid
information management, statistical/analytical skills, process integration
