Supply Chain Coordinator – Co-Pack
Overview: The role will consist of coordinating production processes and staff in third party manufacturing and trans-loading sites within the OVC business unit. The ideal candidate will need to have strong skills in communication, technical and food safety understanding, and problem-solving. It will be necessary to effectively communicate and build professional and positive working relationships with both internal and external customers while striving to exceed total service expectations for end customers. Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Essential Functions: • Act as a liaison and point of contact between the co packers and the functional departments within the OVC Operating Groups. Ensure effective use of resources and communication of priorities by coordinating efforts between Sales and Marketing, R&D, Quality, Regulatory and Manufacturing and Product Supply departments.• Coordinate production and inventory management with various co packers.• Hands on problem solving with customers, suppliers and internal support personnel.• Data entry of material inbounds, production posting, shipment confirmation, billing, etc• Ensure that SKU information, project files and bill of materials are maintained within internal and customer systems when applicable.• Ensure customer reporting data is on time.• Work with the logistics team to ensure outbound shipments are timely and cost effective• Resolve and/ or escalate issues in a timely fashion• Facilitate, resolve and field questions from contract suppliers and sales customers• Maintain the master file of co-packaging arrangements• Maintain co packer KPI’s and improve upon them• Work with OVC FP&A in the US and Canada to ensure that all new co-pack arrangements are supported by legal agreements, if applicable, and comply with BNA Policies and Procedures• Bachelor of Science degree required• Diverse experience • 2-3 years of plant operations, engineering, supply chain, distribution, sales and/or procurement experience preferred• Overall understanding of the supply chain• Project management skills • Strong understanding of the development, evaluation and utilization of KPI's• Assertive, results oriented self-starter• Flexible and customer/client service oriented.• Desire to approach work as a continuous learning opportunity.• Computer skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AccessApply for this job.
