Supply Chain Development Advisor ? Global
Position PurposeDrive design and implementation of supply chain excellence for GEOS by participating as one of a small global supply chain development team charged with the deployment of best practices across the integrated supply chain. Lead complex SC and business analytics for GEOS regionally and globally. Team will work together to set global process standards and regional flexibility. The global position will be responsible for leading development of global standards, opportunity identification, and the global strategic plan and approach. Develop strategies to drive performance at a global and regional level through collaboration with the global supply chain leader, a global supply chain development team, and regional supply chain leaders. Identify and drive implementation of future state GEOS supply chain processes or operations improvements, and associated technology, partnering with IT. Use advanced analytical and continuous improvement techniques to identify opportunities, solutions and strategies.This position will be considered a subject matter expert in the supply chain management space with extensive and deep knowledge to independently conduct more complex activities across a global, regional or multi-country scope. This includes: holistic assessment considering internal and external perspectives, comprehensive mapping, clear breakdown of results into decision-making processes such as network design and optimization, project leadership, continuous improvement, process development, inventory strategy and segmentation, customer & client interaction / business partnership, systems/data management and reporting & analysis.Principal Accountabilities(75%) Lead the design and deployment of GEOS supply chain excellence strategy Lead the design and program implementation of the GEOS supply chain strategy and capability for the GEOS business & global processes. Will work as part of global team in designing the future and deploying capability.Provide global program management for the strategy deploymentDevelop SC strategies and recommendations to drive step change opportunities in the GEOS supply chain on a global basis or in support of particular regions (working with regional supply chain advisors and supply chain leaders). Drive implementation of identified strategies to deliver business results.Develop high level implementation plans and change roadmaps to deliver our three year supply chain strategyDevelop & manage SC project portfolio management process in support of strategy and CI improvements.Partner with IT to develop and implement system strategies in support of the SC project portfolio and strategy.Utilizing an extensive understanding of supply chain practices and procedures, reviews and monitors processes and metrics, and ensures best practices are identified and shared between locations and regions. Creates process workflow diagrams and RASCI schemes, and communicates best practices through trainings, workshops and documentation.Drive development and implementation of our supply chain digitalization strategyDevelop GEOS SC Continuous improvement process and provide CI global direction in support of regional CI efforts, partnering with the GEOS Group CI lead. (15%) Lead complex SC and business analytics for GEOS to identify opportunities to drive performance in support of the global business or the individual regions. Develops, executes and implements more complex projects and process improvements across the integrated supply chain to drive step change and continuous improvement to current excellence standards across the organization (10%) Uses broad knowledge to evaluate the network design and optimization. Including value chain mapping and other optimization, prediction and analytical techniques to determine, outline and value opportunities and impacts to the business. Develop implementation plans and approach to drive implementation.
