Supply Chain New Launch and Innovation Specialist
DescriptionCorteva Agriscience, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont has an exciting opportunity for Supply Chain New Launch and Innovation Specialist based in Indianapolis, IN. The purpose of this job is to lead the identification, evaluation/design, and implementation, of new product launches and supply chain improvements through cross functional collaboration and project management. The scope of project activities may be regional or global and encompass a single business portfolio, multiple business portfolios or an envelope. The overall objective is to maximize business value growth, through the generation and the delivering of a pipeline of new product launch and improvement ideas.Core Responsibilities: Collaborates cross functionally to identify new launch and supply chain improvement opportunities Leads cross functional and cross regional project teams in creating and implementing an integrated work plan to deliver project objectives and milestones Ensures definition or validation of the formulation and packaging strategy, supply chain network design, and completion of the site selection work process for all product launches and aligns those to the regional supply chain for implementation Identifies and takes action to mitigate supply risks, ensuring successful new product launch Ensures that established work process and project management best practices are leveraged and utilized throughout project work Establishes project expectations with key stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project, including project timeline, associated costs, and project status Defines, executes, and maintains the project plan, project timeline, stakeholder communication plan, and control plan for all assigned projects Represents Supply on the Program Management Network Team as needed Leads specific steps within the formulation and packaging 5 year Supply Planning Process Calculates product costs and ensures cost assumptions are appropriately communicated to stakeholders Responsible for identifying savings in existing supply chains through optimization or waste reduction Critical Competencies: Leading Courageously: Initiative, Change, Risk Management: Creates new opportunities and leads others to define a program and risks for implementation of an opportunity; leads others to embrace positive aspects of change and supports their transitionDelivering Innovative Solutions: Bias for Action and Initiative: Determines the overall scope of actions with minimal coaching; seeks comprehensive input and conducts exhaustive information search to develop a solution or plan forwardCollaborating for Superior Results: Communication Effectiveness: Delivers presentations or reports that distill complex ideas into clear results and proposals; communicates appropriately to influence internal and external audiences Teamwork: Proactive in creating informal teams or networks of colleagues to generate ideas; works with and through others to consistently influence direction and activity of teamsGenerating Customer Value: Stakeholder Relationships: Proactively seeks to understand stakeholder deliverables and works to design interdependent work processes and standards, with clear understanding of tradeoffs and priorities.Able to manage multiple projects, varying in complexity within a very diverse environment (both functions and culture)QualificationsEducation/Certification/Experience Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Other Science 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Supply R&D operations Project Management Professional Certification, Six Sigma Certification, and/or Lean Practitioner a plus#LI-DD1Apply for this job.
