We are seeking to hire aSupply Chain Planner to support our Home and Personal Care product lines. In this role, you willbe responsible for managing all processes and systems used for supplymanagement of the given portfolio. This includes order execution (import and/or domesticallyproduced), management of inventory, inventory disposition strategies, KPIperformance, master data management (as it relates to materials management andplanning), identification and resolution of demand/supply imbalances, and beinga key contributor to the S&OP process. The role requires collaboration with Customer Care, Logistics, Procurement(in some instances), Product Management, and Global Source partners. Thisposition reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Leveraging your education (preferably in Business,
Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field) and experience in Supply Chain
or business-related field (ex: Customer Care, Supply Chain, Product
Management, Procurement, Operations, Production), you will manage supply
and inventory balance for the assigned product portfolio and manage inventory
levels throughout the Supply Chain, consistent with targets. Your excellent internal and external customer focus
will be evident as you manage the replenishment of products using netted
demand in support of inventory targets and delivery reliability goals.
Your ERP experience (SAP preferred) will serve you well
as you monitor orders, stock status, and MRP exception messages in SAP,
ensuring products are available to support business plan. Additionally, you will use this experience
to manage and pro-actively audit master data in SAP (R3 and SNP),
including purchasing agreements, ATP, article extensions, etc. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will
be a valued asset as you interface with Customer Support regarding
available to promise and backorders.
Successfully engaging with Product Management and
Global Supply partners (or Procurement, if applicable), you will identify,
negotiate, and bring to resolution any demand/supply imbalances. Your demonstrated ability to make value-added
contributions in cross-functional project teams will be essential as you identify
and manage dysfunctional inventories and recommend and pursue appropriate
Your proven experience in driving innovation and
continuous improvement will be vital as you drive planning improvements to
prevent development of dysfunctional inventory.
Using your strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
products (Excel and Access preferred), you will analyze KPI trends to
identify areas of opportunity and implement improvement where applicable. Demonstrating your strong analytical thinking
capability and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment,
you will actively engage in the Sales & Operations Planning process by
preparing relevant data, updating KPI's (inventory analysis, short supply,
HOI, etc.), and representing the supply planning function by participating
