Supply Chain Planning Category Manager
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Plans and manages global supply of assigned product categories through the recommendation and implementation of production and supply strategies, turning of stock per: product life cycle, quality and inventory level, customer demands and business objectives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. The following activities are conducted at the Global Category Level:-Support the management of Global Supply Planning activities of assigned category oProvide visibility regarding business needs through dashboard, KPI, issues and risks analysis communicated to Regional SCP to provide clear visibility for sales and plant operationsoSupport team in identifying and solving issuesoKnowledge of global and local process to assist in coverage when primary SCP is out of office. -Lead the supply process and strategy of the category or by delegationoParticipation on the strategic crop review (to develop a midterm plan for the next 4/5 years)oContribute to the definition of the CPQS, align, challenge, and coordinate new spec requirements as well as necessary actions/projects/resources to define new product specsoDevelop a supply road map in alignment with operations management teamoSuggest and present improvements or change on product flowsoLead category projects or by delegation as well as contribute to global projects.-Collaboration with manager for tools & method improvementoPromote best practices and harmonize ways of working developing standard processes within the categoryoIdentify gaps and challenges in regional and global processes that are driving repeat offenses on a local level, collaborate with other hubs to develop a global solution.oCreate a continuous improvement atmosphere at a category level empowering SCP”s at a regional level to lead the change-Direct report management of assigned personal with a focus of performance and developmentoContribute in alignment with the regional SCP manager for people management activitiesoAnalyze and express needs in term of training, development, and staff adjustment oDevelop sustainable category expertise within your group, using internal and external departments and resources. Based on people development and processes to create a sustainable transfer of knowledge within the category. Ex. white books, instructions, QA and standard work documents.oParticipate with recruitmentoAnticipate and support during peak activityoFacilitates/coordinate training within categoryoFacilitate 1:1 bi-weekly SCP meeting and monthly global category team meeting to ensure cohesion within the categoryoEstablish functional links with SCP”s in Europe/FranceoEnsure coordination of global production programs, aligning with Organizational Strategy to Internal Stakeholders. Drive stock improvement by analyzing stock ratio beyond budget exercise and recommend action plan in accordance with strategic crop review.Apply for this job.
