SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced. Other responsibilities include: production paperwork verification; production floor checks; performing GMP and housekeeping audits; .responsible for Team Member food safety training. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results & coordinating with others. This position is responsible for food safety, food quality and legality.REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: 2+ years in a food manufacturing environment, meat experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, & SSOP's. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; bilingual a plus. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks. This is a b shift position. Tm's with 5 or less points will be considered.
