Supv FSQA – HARVEST B SHIFT
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of FSQA Technicians, including: team member safety, product food safety and quality, continuous improvement, training and scheduling/ coverage of assigned department area. Work activities are variable and require a combination of technical ability [food science, food safety or related field], leadership skills and desire for personal/ professional improvement. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor degree in technical field or equivalent in a general professional field or equivalent industry experience within Food Safety Quality Assurance Management position. Experience: 3 + years' meat/food processing experience needed if non-degreed or an equivalent of education and experience; Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills; bilingual a plus. Special Skills: Experience with FSIS regulatory expectations is plus Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
