SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical is responsible for directing a staff of Electrical Technicians. Coordinating and implementing the operational and maintenance activities of this team including corrective maintenance (CM), preventative maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PDM) for various production equipment. The keys to success in this position are to utilize technical and leadership skills, and advanced maintenance systems and techniques to direct the safe and efficient operation of all production and ancillary equipment while developing all direct reports. This position will be responsible for the production maintenance technical team of between 10 to 20 FTE's. Candidate responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Key member of overall facility Maintenance organization. Never compromises on safety and hold direct reports accountable for all plant, departmental and individual goals. Ensures all maintenance related projects and work are in compliance with standards set by USDA, OSHA, SQF, EPA, PSM, HAACP and any additional governing agencies by which we manage our business. Adheres to and positively supports company policies. Ensurefacility and support equipment is maintained at a high level of operational performance where all equipment, machinery and systems are in an “up and running” state at all times. Schedule and direct the daily activities of production maintenance Team Members to ensure completion of assigned, planned and unplanned work. Work cooperatively with the Maintenance Planning to develop and execute maintenance plans. Adheres to maintenance budget related to the assigned areas. Utilizethe Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan, schedule and document all maintenance activities. Works cooperatively with the Management and internal customers to develop “best practices” for maintenance activities. Ensureall contractors are efficient with time and material. Ensure that required competitive quotes are received and tracked to get the best value. Develop and implement process improvements projects. Provide formal and informal support and coaching to direct reports as needed to improve performance and/or generate opportunities for further growth and development. Communicates across shifts. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Licensed Industrial Electrician or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience supervising a high performing maintenance team. Must have a successful record and experience in production equipment maintenance supervision. Computer Skills: Must have in-depth knowledge of food industry, processes and equipment. Basicpersonnel computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Power Point. Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic and Programming. Must have experience with CCMS systems and TPM methodology.
