SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the supervision of production team members ensuring compliance with all human resource and safety policies, food safety, sanitation while enforcing quality and safety. Other duties include: workingclosely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability for assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; ability to complete Tyson paperwork; ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; personal safety and food safety and legality; other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: 2 + years' experience in the Fresh Meats industry; knowledge of production operations and techniques; food safety; product yields, and USDA regulations required. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual skills helpful. Special Skills: Must be a team player; team leader; problem solving ability; good attendance and safety record; extra consideration given to team members with technical skills; Supervisory Skills: This person is responsible for supervising a group of team members whoperform various production tasks or activities.
