Job SUMMARY: This position is responsible for overseeing the overall sanitation procedures of the corresponding shift. Ensuring the Plant meets all USDA and pre-op requirements. This includes ensuring Team Members have been instructed on the proper safety procedures to be used in or around the work area, monitoring the weekly Pre-op Microbiologic reports, and gaining knowledge of chemical mixes and MSDS. Other responsibilities include monitoring sanitation technicians in their use of chemical and proper safety procedures, checking inventory levels of chemicals and ordering supplies when necessary, and taking care of daily administrative duties, i.e. Team Member records and work schedules. Other duties includeconducting daily safety huddles, monthly safety meetings, scheduling ongoing training for Team Members, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics, grammar, basic office equipment, and business practices normally acquired through four years of high school, a vocational school or equivalent.Experience: 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills: Basic computer skillsSupervisory Skills: This position is responsibility for managing multiple groups of personnel who perform dissimilar tasks and activities in several different departments. “This position is slated for individuals who are currently working at this location therefore they will be first consideration.
