SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supervising the sanitation procedures of a specific shift, making sure the plant meets all USDA requirements and the production line begins on time. This includes ensuring Team Members have been instructed on the proper safety procedures to be used in or around the work area, monitoring the weekly Pre-Op Microbiologic reports, and gaining knowledge of chemical mixes and MSDS. Other responsibilities include monitoring sanitation technicians in their use of chemicals and proper safety procedures, checking inventory levels of chemicals and ordering supplies when necessary, and taking care of daily administrative duties, i.e. Team Member records and work schedules. Other duties include conducting monthly safety meetings, scheduling ongoing training for Team Members, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Knowledge of high school subject matter such as mathematics,grammar, office equipment, and business practices normally acquired through four years of high school, a vocational, school or equivalent. Experience: 3 plus years. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Strong verbalskills; the ability to communicate with all Team Members.
