Supv Shift – Human Resources
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel for the various shifts; maintaining accurate records and ensuring complete documentation; interpreting and administering policies in a fair and consistent manner; managing the Team Member retention program; compiling information regarding the plant's Affirmative Action plan; representing Tyson at Unemployment Appeal hearings; posting and gathering bid information;tracking applicant flow to ensure the plant is in adherence with affirmative action standards; supervising shift nurses, security, and Team Members; and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
Additional assignments as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Experience: 1 plus years experience.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, Bilingual skills a plus.
Supervisory: Supervise a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.
